HI ALLISON, TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF & YOUR MISSION.

My name is Allison, I work as a sales rep in the yarn, fiber, and textile industry. I also work as a marketing communication consultant. What I really love about being an entrepreneur fits with my lifestyle and looking after my son.

WHAT IS YOUR SECRET SAUCE TO GET FURTHER?

My secret sauce is that I am doing something that I love. My job has grown out of my hobby. We’re so lucky in this day and age to be able to write our own success.

WHAT IS YOUR FEEDBACK ABOUT MARATOWN?

As a sales rep, I’m always running for the tube, or to make a connection, or walking to a shop. And I’ve got a big case that I’m lugging. I’ve always been looking for sneakers that look nice with a professional work outfit, but are comfortable as well. These are the most amazing shoes that I have ever tried.

They are so comfortable, I can’t get over it. Yeah, they’re amazing. When they are coming out again? I have a trade show in March so I need these. [In the past] all I had were athletic trainers for this trade show, and I couldn’t wear them on the show floor. It just would not have been professional, not when you’re meeting clients. These would have been so much cuter, stylish, professional… they’re black, which I love.

I think if your feet are happy and healthy, then you are more confident. I’m able to not think about how sore my feet are. I can concentrate on the deal and the sale that I’m making, chatting with clients and customers, I can just focus getting the job done.
